DescriptionDelta Health is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate Patient Access Specialist to support patients, families, and clinical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment. What You'll Do Register ED patients and verify demographic and insurance information Answer phones, greet patients and visitors, and coordinate communication Track admissions, transfers, consults, and pediatric patients Upload documents and maintain accurate records in the EHR Assist with patient transfers, specimen transport, and department coordination Support patient safety, security, and efficient ED operations What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required 1+ year of relevant experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills Computer proficiency required (MEDITECH a plus) Knowledge of medical terminology and patient registration preferred Why Join Delta Health? PRN employees are required to be available to work a minimum of two (2) shifts per month and one (1) holiday per year. Maximum shifts per month will vary based on the employee's regularly scheduled hours per shift.
