Position Overview:

The Logistics Coordinator role is to own all business value added requirements in support of the logistics and supply chain team. These business value-added requirements are necessary for data integrity and to ensure our supply chain operates efficiently and smoothly. The candidate will have to have a passion for detail and accuracy. The candidate will also be exposed to multiple supply chain projects and will provide analysis where it is needed to help guide management decisions. The Logistics Coordinator will work in a team-oriented environment. This is a collaborative position that requires an elevated level of professionalism and communication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Logistics

• Ensure our TMS (Transportation Management System) is updated daily with all pertinent information.
• Daily follow-up with carriers to ensure expected deliveries are made and recorded as such in TMS.
• Daily and Weekly Reporting
• Recording of customer claims of OS&D (overages, shortages, and damages) and triggering investigation
• Entering Orders into TMS
• Tracking Detention
• Confirming appointments set at both origin and destination daily.
• Enter and maintain sample order database.

Key Customer Service

• Backfilling Invoicing Orders (Customers and Vendors)

Supply Chain

• Data Integrity Ownership and Reconciliation over ERP system and 3rd party systems
• Support supply chain administrative requirements of planning, logistics, and customer service team.

Requirements:

• General Knowledge of Supply Chain
• Attention to Details and sense of urgency.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management
• 1+ years in logistics or supply chain experience, recent grads encouraged to apply
• Food/beverage industry a plus.
• Intermediate Outlook, Word, and Excel Skills required.
• QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to collaborate with other teams across the company.
