Bilingual ReceptionistWe are seeking an organized and customer-focused receptionist who is fluent in both English and Spanish. This role is responsible for creating a positive first impression for all visitors and providing exceptional administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.The bilingual receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors in a healthcare setting. This role requires excellent customer service, professionalism, and the ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish while supporting front-desk operations and EMR workflows.Responsibilities:Greet and check in patients professionally in English and SpanishAnswer and route incoming calls; respond to general inquiriesVerify patient demographics, insurance, and consent formsSchedule, confirm, and update appointments in Athena or other EMR systemsCollect copays and process basic payments as requiredMaintain organized front-desk and waiting areasEnsure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA guidelinesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required1+ year of receptionist or front-desk experience (healthcare preferred)Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)Experience with Athena (Athena One) or other EMR/EHR systems preferredStrong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills
