Job Description:

As an Investment Operations Associate, your primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive support to Financial Advisors, facilitating the sales process and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within our growing wealth management practice. This dynamic role demands exceptional interpersonal skills, adept multitasking abilities, and the capacity to thrive both independently and as a collaborative team member. Your contribution will be instrumental in fostering business growth, maintaining operational efficiency, and upholding service excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt and learn to address the diverse needs of various accounts, promptly addressing client and advisor inquiries on a daily basis.
  • Coordinate and provide support for client investment services, ensuring seamless execution and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate client data within the CRM database and manage the Pershing account management system (NetX360) effectively.
  • Handle client inquiries promptly and accurately, ensuring swift resolution and execution.
  • Analyze and resolve discrepancies between custodian and internal systems, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of various forms and account procedures to assist clients effectively.
  • Generate high-quality analytical reports using a range of software programs to support decision-making processes.
  • Prioritize daily tasks, monitor project progress and deadlines, manage phone communications, and schedule appointments efficiently.
  • Demonstrate initiative in expanding knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry regulations, and financial concepts.
  • Collaborate effectively with local office support members, Financial Advisors, and Management to streamline operations and deliver exceptional service.
  • Uphold high standards of accuracy, thoroughness, and organizational proficiency in all aspects of daily work.
  • Communicate professionally and articulately with employees, management, and clients at all levels, fostering positive relationships.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting designated deadlines and delivering results under pressure.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards and regulatory compliance in all activities.
