As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be designing the building infrastructure for large scale mission critical data center projects or unique projects involving EV & PV Distribution, clean rooms, labs, or commercial hi-rises with integrated sustainability. Some of your responsibilities include the following:


Every Vanderweil Engineers team member brings something unique to the table. Here is what we are looking for with this role:

  • Working with electrical distribution equipment that includes generators, ATS and UPS.
  • Use Revit to model electrical systems.
  • Document design calculations and design path decisions.
  • Model electrical distribution systems with our analysis software.
  • Create specifications for basic projects.
  • Part of project team in the production of engineering solutions for large scale and complex building projects.
  • Perform site surveys.


Essential Skills & Requirements


  • 7+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Revit knowledge is a plus
  • Understanding of the NEC, IBC and IECC.
  • SKM, AGI 32 and AMPCALC 4 desired.

The compensation that we expect to pay for this position is commensurate with years of experience, professional licensure and education and may range from $110,000 to $150,000 annually, plus benefits.
