LPN Charge Nurse

*We are looking for a Full-Time or Part-Time Charge Nurse, LPN to join our Nursing Team. Nursing positions would include a regular weekend and holiday rotation. As a Charge Nurse in our facility, you would oversee the cares of our residents and the flow of the nursing staff. As a leader, this person needs to hold strong communication skills for both family and staff interactions. Pay differentials are offered for Evening ($3/hr) and NOC ($4/hr) shifts.
*On an average day, you can expect to:
- Direct the day to day activities of the Nursing Assistants
- Prepare and administer medications as ordered by physician and perform other drug administration
- Prepare and perform medical treatments as directed by physician.
- Communicate changes in patient clinical condition with physician, nursing supervisor and family
- Complete required record keeping upon residents admission, discharge, transfer
- Chart and document per facility policy requirements
- MN LPN License and in good standing on MN Board of Nursing
- Ability to pass a MN background check
- Ability to analyze, review and judge different situations they face and take the right actions according to the situation
- Patience, compassion, and organizational skills are a must in our constantly evolving work environment
