It is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties, responsibilities, and qualifications required.Responsibilities:Excavates trenches for water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewerInstalls trench boxes as necessaryOperates equipment in compliance with Muller's safety policies and OSHA proceduresEnsures proper excavation & compaction procedures are performedEnsures all equipment is maintained by performing daily equipment inspections & grease equipment at required intervalsDemonstrates a working knowledge of underground utilitiesPerforms other related duties and responsibilities as required to complete the jobManages quality control and productionTrains team members as needed in a hands-on mannerQualifications:Must be able to communicate directly with clients1 year of experience or more with wet utilityMust be able to operate large excavators with precisionMust have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to work in confined spacesAbility to access secured facilitiesHigh attention to detailPhysical Requirements:Employee must be physically fit to perform duties of the job in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling (up to 50 lbs.).Regularly required to sit and stand, must be able to use hands to fingers, handle or feel and verbally communicate and listen.Other physical requirements include walking, climbing, balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending or crawling.Specific vision abilities required by the position include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Compensation:Competitive salary rate plus bonusesHealth, Dental, Vision InsurancePTO401K with Company MatchCompany Vehicle
