Job Title: Python Developer (Contingent Resource) Location: Charlotte, NC Employment Type: Contingent Assignment About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Python Developer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications that support critical business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions and ensure seamless integration with existing systems. This position involves consulting on complex initiatives with broad impact, analyzing multi-faceted software engineering challenges, and contributing to strategic planning and resolution efforts. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications. Write efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions. Integrate Python applications with existing systems and third-party services. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing codebases. Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC). Use GitHub for version control and branch management. Ensure code quality through unit testing and peer reviews. Consult on large-scale software engineering initiatives and compliance requirements. Required Qualifications 5+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military service, or education. Strong proficiency in Python (4-6 years). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (2-4 years). Familiarity with Python libraries (2-4 years). Knowledge of automation with Python (1-2 years preferred). Solid understanding of software engineering principles, policies, and compliance standards. Preferred Skills Ability to analyze complex, large-scale challenges and propose innovative solutions. Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams. Experience in strategic consulting and planning for software engineering projects.
