Division Vice President Of Nursing ExcellenceWe are seeking a Division Vice President of Nursing Excellence with North Texas Division Office to promote growth and unlock possibilities. Share your leadership skills and come make a difference with usThe Division Vice President of Nursing Excellence is responsible for improving patient care through enhancing nursing engagement, elevating the professional practice of nursing, and advancing a culture of recognition and shared governance. Additional responsibilities include advancing our Nursing Professional Practice Model with oversight of academic affairs and community engagement. Furthermore, this position is charged with the development, management and delivery of designated service line of all American Nurses Credentialing Center programs including, Magnet, Pathway to Excellence, Practice Transition Accreditation Program, and the Continuing Education Provider unit.The Vice President of Clinical Excellence will participate in the development of the strategy, structure, methodology and evaluation of nursing excellence. This position demonstrates a high degree of responsibility, accountability and autonomy.Qualifications include:Texas RN license.National certification required, with preference in nursing executive leadership or education/staff development.Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.Master's degree in clinical field, Education, Nursing, or Healthcare Administration required.Doctoral degree (or progress therein) highly desired.Requires minimum 10 years of experience in hospital-based clinical specialty, multiple preferred.Requires an additional minimum of 2 years, but 5 preferred, in education, organizational development, clinical leadership, human resources management or similar; preferably in a hospital setting.History of progressive leadership positions and abilities.Medical City Healthcare strives to deliver excellence.
