- We are looking for highly compassionate and dedicated CNAs, PCAs, and caregivers to join our growing team. You must be ready to provide in-home care to our clients in a respectful and compassionate way, and expect to be respected and valued in return. We have flexible schedules that allow 4hr shifts
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One year-full time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, or one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting; or
- Evidence of sympathetic, compassionate, and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Evidence of maturity and ability to deal effectively with job demands.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attend eight (8) hours of personal care-oriented services per year.
- Must have a criminal history check conducted prior to being offered a position with the agency
- Provide personal hygiene assistance
- Provide assistance with daily living activities
- Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
- Meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping around client areas
- Other duties as assigned
- Assess and communicate with ill clients, co-workers and general public.
- Must be neat in appearance and practice good personal hygiene.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
- Must have a valid proof a negative TB test, or be willing to get tested.
