You will be responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with the Starbucks guiding principles, as well as the Omni Trilogy Culture. Best of all, as a Starbucks Barista, you'll be part of a company that is consistently rated as a great place to work and the people here love what they do.Pay Rate: $15.50 per hourResponsibilitiesAs a Starbucks Barista, job duties include by not limited to:Acting with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks, and Omni Hotels & Resorts.Contributing to positive team environment by recognizing individual and team accomplishments using Omni Service Champion (OSC) cards.Delivering legendary customer service to all guests by acting with a "guest comes first" attitude and connecting with the customer; Anticipating and responding to guests' needs.Following Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including Omni policies and procedures for cash handling safety and security; Counting bank deposit at end of all assigned register shifts, and balancing house bank.Maintaining a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.Following all Omni Hotels & Resorts attendance and punctuality standards, as well as Omni/ Starbucks uniform and appearance standardsProviding quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards; Following health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.Attending all monthly store meetings and training sessions.Recognizing and embracing Starbucks' commitment to environmental responsibility through recycling, ethical growing, conservation, and green planet practices.QualificationsA brief summary of qualifications:Some Starbucks, coffee house, or F&B experience preferred; No previous experience requiredAbility to learn and problem-solve quicklyAbility to memorize a large amount of beverage recipes in an appropriate timely mannerAbility to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when neededStrong interpersonal skills, such as customer-serviceAbility to work as part of a teamFlexible availability, including working weekends and holidaysMust be 18 years or older* Omni Hotels & Resorts requires all candidates to complete a background check; Employment may be contingent on results of background check as applicable and permissible by law. *** Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer.
