We are seeking a reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining verified accounts payable records, reconciling statements, and issuing timely payments to vendors. If you have a strong attention to detail and a passion for financial accuracy, apply now.Accounts Payable Compensation and Benefits: Accounts Payable Competitive Salary: $23-$26 per hourGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO):We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time. Paid Holidays: Hannah Motor Company offers at least 6 paid holidays per year to Accounts Payable subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements as per company policy. Accounts Payable Responsibilities: Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.Codes all invoices to appropriate accounts.Posts all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis.Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains management designated accounts payable files.Reconciles statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules.Prepares accounts payable checks.Reimbursement of petty cash system.Analyzes vendor accounts.Answers all vendor inquiries.Prepares 1099 tax forms and compiles required documentation.Assists with monthly closings.Assists with related special projects as required.Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area. Accounts Payable Qualifications: Excellent communication skills (including listening, speaking).Ability to read, speak and understand English.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form.Ability to multi-task.Ability to work alone, self motivate and manage one’s own time.Physical ability to use computer hardware/software.Team player with a positive attitude.Computer literate (MS Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook) Organized and extremely detail oriented.Ability to prioritize.At Dick Hannah Dealerships, our Core Values are summed up in four words: Family, Integrity, Respect and Purpose.
