Financial ControllerDirect-Hire Opportunity We are seeking a financial controller to oversee day-to-day financial operations and lead the accounting function. In this key leadership role, you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while building and supporting a collaborative accounting team. This position plays a vital role in budgeting, planning, cash management, and process improvement during a period of growth. Location: Saint Paul, MN Wage: $130,000 - $180,000 per year Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday Benefits of the financial controller: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Paid time off and holidays Flexible work options Wellness programs Career development opportunities Competitive, direct-hire position Potential for equity/stock options (based on eligibility) Direct-hire opportunity Duties of the financial controller: Maintain internal accounting function and financial controls in accordance with GAAP Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and sales/use tax returns Lead budgeting and financial planning; report KPIs and budget vs. actual Manage cash flow and support overall financial strategy Oversee AP/AR, payroll, inventory, GL, and reconciliations Hire, train, and retain accounting staff Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements Improve close, reporting, and internal processes as business scales Requirements of the financial controller: Bachelor's or Master's in Business with an emphasis in Accounting (CPA and/or MBA) Minimum 3 years' experience managing a full P&L, including budgeting and cash management Advanced Excel skills with exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical ability Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks), financial reporting, and process improvement High integrity, collaborative working style, and experience in manufacturing, medical, or high-growth environments (including M&A or overseas teams) Additional information: Apply today To learn more about this financial controller position, contact Alejandro at 763-200-3083.
