Director, Financial Institutions Group (Secured Business Credit)Capital One's Financial Institutions Group (FIG) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join our growing Secured Business Credit team. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the origination, structuring, and execution of asset based revolving lines of credit to non-Bank asset based lending (ABL), equipment leasing (EL) platforms and small balance commercial lending platforms. The Director will play a key role in expanding our market presence and building strong, long-lasting relationships with asset managers. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in specialty commercial lending to drive significant growth and contribute to the success of a dynamic team within a leading financial institution.Responsibilities:Proactively identify and cultivate new lending or capital markets opportunities within the target customer and prospect marketWorking with the senior RM's, assist in the origination and structuring of asset backed credit facilities and potential capital markets (ABS) opportunitiesAdvise clients on capital raising solutions including senior and subordinated debtCollaborate with internal partners, including credit, legal, underwriting and operations teams, to ensure seamless execution of transactionsManage the relationships for a portfolio of existing clients, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities for cross-selling other products and servicesStay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape in the ABL and EL spaces, to facilitate a more tailored approach to structuring financing solutionsRepresent Capital One at industry conferences and events to build brand awareness and expand professional networkWork and establish relationships in the specialty lending communityBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 7 years of experience as an originator with a focus on financial institutionsAt least 7 years of experience originating and closing lead-left or bilateral transactionsAt least 7 years of experience with financial statement analysis, credit analysis, and risk assessmentPreferred Qualifications:At least 4 years of experience in structured finance, securitization structures and capital marketsAt least 8 years of experience as an originator with a focus on financial institutionsFINRA Licenses series 7, 63, 69_At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position._The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Charlotte, NC: $205,400 - $234,400 for Director, FIG Investment BankingChicago, IL: $205,400 - $234,400 for Director, FIG Investment BankingMcLean, VA: $226,000 - $257,900 for Director, FIG Investment BankingNew York, NY: $246,500 - $281,300 for Director, FIG Investment BankingCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
