Responsibilities:

As a News Writer and On-Air Talent, your responsibilities will include:

• News Writing: Researching, writing, and editing news articles and scripts for television broadcasts. Your ability to craft compelling, accurate, and engaging news stories will be crucial.
• On-Air Presentation: Hosting news segments and delivering news reports with confidence and professionalism. This includes both in-studio and on-location reporting.
• Research: Staying up-to-date with current events, conducting interviews, and gathering information to create well-informed news stories.
• Collaboration: Collaborating with the news team to develop story ideas, pitch topics, and participate in editorial meetings.
• Adaptability: Being ready to cover breaking news and adapt to changing situations quickly.
• Engagement: Building a rapport with our audience through social media and other engagement channels.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in journalism, broadcasting, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research and storytelling abilities.
• A passion for current events and news reporting.
• Enthusiasm for on-camera work and the desire to excel as an on-air anchor.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced news environment.
• Previous experience in journalism or broadcasting are a plus but not required.
