Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable ClerkRegal Boats is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our commitment to excellence by overseeing the compilation and organization of accounts payable records.Key Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.Distributes signed checks as required.Accurately enters financial transactions and data into the accounting system, maintaining a high level of precision.Contributes to the month-end closing process by ensuring all accounts payable entries are accurately recorded and reconciled.Performs monthly reconciliation of vendor statements.Communicates effectively, both externally and internally, in a timely manner.Performs filing and copying.Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management, utilizing accounting software and Excel proficiency.Required QualificationsHigh school diplomaAt least 1 year of experience as an Accounts Payable ClerkProficiency in ExcelStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time-management skillsPreferred QualificationsAssociate's degree in AccountingFamiliarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.Possession of a relevant certification, such as Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) or similar.Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
