Production SupervisorDAY SHIFT: MON-THUR 5:00AM-3:30PMThe Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating team activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role oversees workforce planning, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals and cost standards. Responsibilities:· Assure adequate workforce planning to achieve production goals· Implement and support self-managed teams· Guarantee the safety of your work area and team members by adhering to safety policies and procedures and requiring a safety mindset· Assure all products adhere to quality requirements through education, quality checks and quality measures· Collaborate with others in the organization to ensure you have what you need to meet takt times and delivery· Assure team members have the required tools and knowledge to meet demands· Ensure all team members have performance expectations set, 1:1 coaching and evaluations for performance, behaviors and development plans· Expected to meet and exceed all cost standards and continually challenge yourself to a leaner and lower cost for your area. Waste reduction is included· Relentlessly communicate both inward and outward to your team and the business· All other duties as assigned Essential Functions:· Solve problems analytically; search out relevant information & gauge its importance when making decisions· Collaborative and effective team player & able to work with teams who may be global· Set a good example of personal integrity· Take initiative, seek and act on opportunities to improve organization performance· Ability to translate specific goals into action and follow through to achieve goals· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software· Demonstrates a safety mindset Education, Training, and Skills Required:· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.· College Education / Degree in related field preferred but not required.· Demonstrated ability to work in teams with a high degree of adaptability & flexibility· Strong desire to learn new skills & knowledge· Excellent work ethic, dependability & dedication to team & company, personal desire & value to produce quality work· System skills – Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP / MRP systems, CRM database, etc.· Basic and applied knowledge of Lean/5S concepts· Understanding basic production work instructions· Analytical skills including trouble shooting, root cause analysis & problem solving· Conflict resolution and effective verbal & written communication skills, executed with respect, care and concern for colleagues.· Minimum travel may be required.
