Responsibilities:


  • Concept, design, sketch, and give direction on product submission from licensees.
  • Create and present trend-right, consumer centric product lines that feature market leading innovation and deliver price/value for our consumers.
  • Execute product and licensed packaging approvals through online systems an collaborative approval meetings, ensuring high quality standards in character execution, in-depth storytelling, color, material, form and function while maximizing profitability, as well as onboarding new partners
  • Create and/or partner on key stakeholder presentations, and retail pitch decks
  • Collaborate with internal partners and cross-company partners to design and approve all products
  • Monitor competitors, product trends and innovation and market dynamics
  • Research initial seasonal trends by category
  • Keep abreast of consumer trends and communicate opportunities where these can be applied
  • Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple design projects within deadlines


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in design related field (e.g. industrial design, toy
  • design)
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid negotiating skills
  • Photoshop and Illustrator required
