My client is a Private Equity fund seeking a Senior Associate out of their Miami HQ and will join a lean team of investment professionals with industry leading expertise investing in and incubating companies across all facets of the energy transition ecosystem. This critical addition to the team will play a central role in furthering my client's reputation as one of the leading investors in the space.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Identifying attractive investment themes and sourcing / screening prospective investment opportunities
Portfolio company oversight and support as well as thought leadership to support growth and other strategic initiatives
Leading transaction due diligence and execution by managing all aspects of deal processes, working closely with senior investment team members to:
Conduct extensive analyses on potential investments, including in-depth financial modeling and presentation materials
Synthesize findings into internal investment committee presentation materials
Managing and coaching junior resources on the team and acting as a leader within the company
Qualifications:
4-6 years of relevant work experience (e.g. investment banking, management consulting, structured credit, energy transition investing)
Private Equity experience within Energy, Sustainability and/or Infrastructure
Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a top university and a robust academic track record
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of fundamental business analysis, financial / accounting / valuation concepts, financial modeling, and ability to create presentation materials
