Modis is seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be expected to work both independently and with Team Members to ensure that Architectural Projects meet their specified goals on-time and within their budget. This will consist of refining Conceptual Designs through the Design Development phase which will eventually end with the creation of a thorough and complete set of Construction Documents.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and production.
  • Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
  • Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions.
  • Ensure that deadlines are met on time and on budget while maintaining the quality of our designs.
  • Tactfully resolve matters and follow-up with an appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Manage client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently and able to multi-task.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of calculations and basic analytical tasks.
  • Manage and mentor a project team.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.


Requirements:

  • 7-15 years’ Experience in a Production Environment.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Strong Knowledge of typical Structural and MEP Systems.
  • Complete knowledge of construction drawing standards.
  • Strong Knowledge of Florida Building Codes and the Permitting Process. Knowledge of Zoning Code a plus.
  • Experience with multiple project/development types such as multifamily, mixed-use, retail, commercial, and healthcare.
  • Written and oral communication skills, strong English language mastery is required.
