Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantAs a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing accounting activities within the organization. This role ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations while working closely with team members to support financial management and reporting processes.Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysisPrepare daily/monthly bank reconciliations for various profit and non-profit entitiesAssist with foundation audit work-papers, quarterly review processes, and 990 supporting schedulesEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies throughout the close processMaintain accurate financial records and documentation in accordance with GAAP and relevant regulationsGenerate reports to support various teams and senior leadership as neededCompile, verify, and analyze financial data for accurate and timely reportingContribute to accounting projects and collaborate with team members and company subject matter expertsLead small, individual special projects as assignedMinimum Qualifications:3 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a corporate settingKnowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles (Non-profit experience is a plus)CPA CertificationPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting and financeExperience in public accounting, preferably a Big 4 firmProficient in accounting software (Sage Intacct) and Microsoft OfficeOur team members fuel our strategy, innovation and growth, so we ensure the health and well-being of not just you, but your family, too We go above and beyond to give you the support you need on an individual level and offer all sorts of ways to help you live your best life.
