About the Opportunity:
Par 5 Golfing was recently founded with a vision to grow a new brand in golf experience with a hybrid model: equipment and entertainment. Our outstandingly neat first golf store and entertainment facility recently opened doors in Dublin, CA in the heart of top golf courses and thousands of golfers around. We are dedicated to delivering unparalleled, tailored experiences all under one roof for the golfing community, including top-notch golf equipment and supplies, stylish apparel, customized fittings, expert lessons, a cutting-edge golf simulator, indoor putting green, and a seating area for group and team-building rentals. There is a 3.5-year lease and another 3-5-year option term to go at a reasonable cost. The vision is to open more stores in the Bay Area, state, or even country, and grow this into a franchise model. Online sales as well.
About the Founder:
The Founder comes from a corporate IT executive management background and has kicked started the business and brought it to the stage where it has started producing some sales. He also runs the entire marketing campaign due to his expertise in it. The brand is slowly getting exposure in the local community and foot traffic is picking up. This is therefore an excellent time to get in while the valuation is low and reap the benefits as the growth happens over the years.
About the Co-Founder:
The Co-Founder or Business Partner will be an experienced "golf business person" coming from a golf pro shop, offsite golf store, or golf course business. Simply, being a golfer is not enough. The key complementing value-add we are looking for is tons of golf community relationships and connections, including corporate relationships for corporate golf events, school and college golf teams, and regular golfers. So in a way, the complementing gap that the Business Partner will be Business Development and Sales, while load-sharing the day-to-day operations. There is also a possibility that the Business Partner may become the full-time operational partner. The Business Partner will also need to bring a certain minimum capital to invest in the business, as the business is right now debt-free and bootstrapped with personal finances.
