Maintenance ElectricianNationwide is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Electrician to ensure the reliable operation of electrical systems across our facilities. This role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical infrastructure to support business continuity and safety.Key Responsibilities:Inspect and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures in commercial buildings.Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.Install new electrical systems and equipment as needed.Conduct routine preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems.Utilize infrared thermography to detect and diagnose electrical faults and overheating components.Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA standards.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.Collaborate with contractors and internal teams on larger projects.Train and mentor apprentice electricians as needed.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project status and potential issues.Qualifications:Valid Journeyman Electrician License.Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.Infrared Thermography Certification (Level I or higher preferred).Valid Fire Alarm License preferred (FA License) in accordance with state/local regulations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and hand/power tools.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Skills:Experience in facilities maintenance within corporate environments.Familiarity with building automation systems and energy management.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
