We're just getting started, so if you're passionate about shipping early, often, and impacting millions, we'd love for you to join our growing teamThe Role: Read AI is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Account Executives to lead, develop, and scale our high-performing sales team. As the Director, you will drive revenue growth by setting strategy, coaching Account Executives, and optimizing processes for driving business through a mixture of inbound and outbound sales motions. You will play a critical role in shaping our go-to-market approach and ensuring our team consistently exceeds targets in a fast-paced, early-stage SaaS environment.ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.Individual Selling: As we build out the team we'll expect the sales director to run their own sales cycles with customers to better understand our ICP, value proposition, and inner workings of the job day to day.Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize inbound lead conversion and uncover new business opportunities.Pipeline Management: Oversee team pipeline health, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective prioritization of opportunities.Performance Management: Set clear goals, monitor KPIs, and provide regular coaching and feedback to drive individual and team success.Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align on go-to-market strategies and relay customer insights.Process Optimization: Implement best practices, sales methodologies, and enablement tools to improve efficiency and results.Reporting: Deliver regular performance updates and insights to senior leadership, identifying trends and areas for improvement.Customer Engagement: Support key deals and maintain relationships with strategic customers as needed.Qualifications:7+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including 3+ years managing or leading Account Executives or similar sales teams.Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a high-growth, early-stage environment, with expertise in managing inbound leads.Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.Deep understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience influencing executive-level stakeholders.Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Why Read AI?Innovative: We're set to bring AI to the masses by introducing technology designed to improve every interaction.Massive Impact: AI's greatest impact will be on the ability to allow people to do more, taking away mundane tasks and allowing them to focus on what matters the most.Growth Opportunities: Read AI is the fastest growing meeting notetaker in history, and is on pace to be one of the fastest growing consumer AI companies. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
