Job Title: Anaplan Model Builder Architect
Client: Clothing Retail - a popular activewear brand known for its stylish and high-quality yoga clothing and accessories.
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote with occasional travel)
Must be based in Los Angeles, CA. Willingness to travel to the office once a month or once every two months, depending on the need.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaplan Model Builder Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, and supply planning using Anaplan. This role will focus on designing and developing robust Anaplan models for cash flow, balance sheet reporting, forecasting, demand planning, and inventory allocation. The candidate should be proficient in integrating data from various source systems into Anaplan’s Datahub and building comprehensive models for planning and forecasting purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Model Design and Development:
Design, build, and maintain Anaplan models for financial planning (cash flow, balance sheet, forecasting) and supply planning (demand planning, inventory allocation).
Utilize Anaplan’s modeling language to implement complex business logic.
Data Integration and Management:
Architect and manage the Datahub in Anaplan, ensuring seamless data flow from various source systems.
Integrate inventory data from manufacturing systems, sales data from Shopify, and other relevant data sources into the Anaplan models.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity throughout the integration and modeling process.
API Integration:
Implement API integrations between Terra platforms and several source systems.
Ensure timely and accurate data transfer into the Datahub and subsequently into the planning and forecasting models.
Demand and Supply Planning:
Develop and maintain models for demand planning and replenishment based on sales data.
Plan inventory levels and replenishment strategies using integrated data from ERP, sales, and manufacturing systems.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements for planning and forecasting.
Work closely with other model builders, developers, and IT teams to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of Anaplan models.
Provide training and support to end-users and other team members.
Performance Optimization:
Optimize model performance to ensure efficient calculations and responsiveness.
Continuously review and refine models to enhance efficiency and functionality.
Maintenance and Support:
Maintain and update models as business needs evolve.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Anaplan models and integrations.
Ensure adherence to best practices and governance policies.
Qualifications:
Proven 10+ years of experience as an Anaplan Model Builder with expertise in financial planning, and supply planning.
Strong understanding of Anaplan’s Datahub architecture and model building techniques.
Proficiency in API integration and data management.
Experience with integrating data from various source systems (ERP, manufacturing, sales platforms like Shopify).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient models.
Deep understanding of financial planning, supply chain management, and HR planning concepts.
Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
