About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced BAS Programmer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, configuring, and troubleshooting Building Automation Systems (BAS) using Niagara framework. You will work closely with project engineers, field technicians, and clients to ensure efficient system integration and performance optimization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and configure Building Automation Systems (BAS) using the Niagara 4 platform.
  • Develop custom control sequences, graphics, alarms, and trends.
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and commissioning of BAS systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate system design and implementation.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and field technicians.
  • Integrate various building systems, including HVAC, lighting, energy, and security, into Niagara-based platforms.
  • Maintain and update BAS programming documentation, drawings, and configurations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure optimal performance and functionality.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Niagara 4 Framework.
  • Strong understanding of building automation, HVAC systems, and control sequences.
  • Experience with BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, and other communication protocols.
  • Proficiency in graphical user interface design for BAS systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Niagara Certification (Niagara 4 or AX).
  • Experience with integrating third-party devices into Niagara.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and IoT integrations.
  • Knowledge of control devices such as VAV controllers, RTUs, and chillers.
