This is a ground-floor opportunity to build foundational systems that will power the next generation of AI-native enterprise software.What You’ll DoArchitect and build scalable backend and platform systems from the ground upDevelop and deploy AI/LLM-powered features using large, complex datasetsDesign robust APIs and integrations to connect data and workflows across systemsTake end-to-end ownership of projects in a fast-paced, evolving environmentCollaborate closely with founders and cross-functional teams to influence technical strategyWhat We’re Looking For3–7 years of backend or platform engineering experienceDeep experience with Python, FastAPI, AWS, and SQL/PostgresProven ability to design and scale reliable, production-grade systemsStrong understanding of data models, infrastructure, and performance optimisationBonus: experience with LLMs, RAG, or agentic frameworksBias toward ownership, rapid learning, and shipping high-quality systemsIdeal BackgroundBuilt and scaled production systems at fast-moving startups or top-tier tech companiesComputer Science or equivalent technical background from a strong academic programExcited by early-stage challenges, ambiguity, and end-to-end ownershipObsessed with detail, craftsmanship, and problem-solvingWilling to put in focused effort to build something enduring
