A Travel Nurse (RN) specializing in Med/Surg is hired for a 9-week assignment with the possibility of extension, providing care for patients with elective total joints and spine surgeries. The position requires a WA nursing license, BLS, and NIHSS certification, along with experience in a similar patient population. Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg - 7S Joint & Spine

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW. No Holiday required.

Length: 9 weeks, with high likelihood of extension

Requirements:

  • WA License
  • Would prefer 2 years experience in similar patient population
  • BLS
  • NIHSS

Other Details:

  • Charting System Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR
  • # of beds: 30, all private
  • Ratios: 1:4-5 both days and nights
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Elective total joints, spines and overflow general surger
  • Travelers are first to float - may float to the other surgical units or other medsurg units. Rare need for team nursing in Covid Medical unit
