Deposit Operations AssociateLHH is recruiting a Deposit Operations Associate for a contract assignment supporting back-office deposit servicing for a regional financial institution. This position requires hands-on experience with deposit operations and the ability to independently manage moderately complex servicing activities while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and service excellence.Contract Term: February 2026 through June 2026Hourly Rate: $23-$33 per hourWork Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (30-minute lunch)Location: Glen Allen, VA (Innsbrook area)Hybrid Schedule: Onsite training for the first two weeks, then a rotating hybrid schedule with three days onsitePrimary Responsibilities:Execute intermediate to advanced maintenance on consumer and commercial deposit accounts, including checking, savings, and time deposits.Research and resolve complex exception items such as Positive Pay exceptions, stop payments, unposted items, adjustments, and RIP items.Ensure all work complies with internal controls, dual control requirements, and BSA/AML regulations.Perform quality control reviews on deposit maintenance, documentation, and imaged records.Analyze debits, credits, and basic general ledger activity using multiple banking systems.Process legal and regulatory documentation, including garnishments, levies, liens, subpoenas, dormancy, and escheatment.Support regulatory and tax-related reporting activities, including year-end corrections.Accurately board and maintain ICS/CDARs accounts in core operating systems.Review and approve transactions processed by junior-level deposit operations staff.Respond to internal and customer inquiries within established turnaround times and service standards.Identify operational risks, escalate concerns as appropriate, and suggest process enhancements.Meet established production and quality benchmarks while managing work with limited supervision.Required Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent required.At least two years of deposit servicing experience, or three years of banking operations or related experience.Prior experience in banking, accounting, or finance required.Solid understanding of deposit operations, debits and credits, and basic general ledger concepts.Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate multiple systems.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.Professional communication skills and demonstrated discretion when handling confidential information.Apply TodayInterested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply through LHH for immediate consideration.Pay Details: $25.00 to $33.00 per hourSearch managed by: Andrew RectorBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
