Project Manager

Hybrid to Redmond, WA (minimal on-site presence)

Schedule: M-F, 40 hours/wk

Contract: 3 months with high likelihood for extension

Pay Range: $60-70 / hour DOE


This role in infrastructure marketing focuses on project management and solution play, specifically in migrating customers to new platforms. It involves managing content creation for virtual events and developing sales materials. The position offers valuable experience in cloud marketing, a critical industry area, and provides an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that can enhance one's resume and offer visibility to upper-level executives.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate B2B marketing initiatives involving stakeholders in multiple organizations.
  • Coordinate projects, make detailed plans and workback schedules, and direct the integration of stakeholders and resources.
  • Lead project-related meetings, capture and follow up on action items, and coordinate stakeholder signoffs.
  • Manage meetings and communications to ensure key milestones are met.
  • Finalize deliverables including marketing materials, presentations, demos, collateral, and other assets.
  • Assist with core projects like solution play landing, Global Demand Center campaigns content, and webpage refresh as needed.
  • Ensure timely communication to all stakeholders outlining expectations and deadlines.
  • Create postmortem evaluations summarizing highlights, lowlights, and future recommendations.
  • Ensure high-quality marketing materials are delivered on-schedule and within budget.
  • Manage work of marketing agencies, including video vendors.
  • Confer with management, marketing staff, and engineering counterparts to discuss project specifications and procedures.


Requirements:

  • 5 to 7+ years of overall experience in the field.
  • PMI or PMP certification required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience at the company is necessary.
  • Strong project management skills, including SCRUM and waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production.
  • Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, etc.
