The payroll Specialist is responsible for all areas of Certified Payroll. This will include preparing reports, collecting data and overseeing all activities for company employee payments.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of payroll in SAGE 300 software.
  • Prepare and maintain all certified payroll reports.
  • Review timecards for accuracy and reconcile variances.
  • Monitor Payroll Inbox for all Certified Payroll correspondence.
  • Support Payroll and Benefits as needed.


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Construction industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and particularly Excel
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Foundational knowledge of Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, including prevailing wage determinations, certified payroll requirements, and compliance reporting.
