Our large distribution client is looking for a strong FP&A/Accounting professional to join their team as the Director of Finance and Accounting. This role will oversee 4 directly, and a team of 12 total, managing all things finance and accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, financial strategy, month end close, financial reporting, consolidations, SOX compliance, external audits, reporting results to senior leadership, and more


Responsibilities

  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including meeting with leadership and providing financial strategy and long term plan.
  • Ensure accounting compliance, including financial statement prep, month end close, accounting policies and procedures, audit management, and more.
  • Oversee cash flow, cash management, and working capital.
  • Act as a business partner cross functionally on strategic initiatives, implementations, profitability, cost savings, and more.
  • Manage and continuously develop team.
  • Ad-hoc projects


Qualifications

  • BS in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years in a financial leadership position.
  • CPA Required.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP AND IFRS Accounting standards strongly preferred.
