Location: Rome, GA United States


Salary: $16-$18 an Hour, willing to be Negotiated above listed range base on experience & skill level.

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Technician who has expertise in embroidery. This role involves operating and maintaining multiple embroidery machines, interacting with customers daily to understand their design needs, and ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of our equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products and service.


Machinery / Equipment:


Embroidery:

  • 3 Barudan Pro Single Head Machines (15 Needle Heads)
  • Hat Hoops, Small to Large Hoops, Hooping on various garments sizing and styles.
  • Ability to move files from computer to embroidery machine.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate embroidery machines to produce custom designs on a variety of garments and promotional items.
  • Prepare garments for printing, including hooping for embroidery
  • Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards, troubleshoot any issues with machinery or printing techniques, and ensure accurate color reproduction.
  • Clean and maintain machines, including regular maintenance tasks such as needle checks, and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with design selection, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their design preferences, offer recommendations, and ensure their satisfaction with the final product.
  • Process customer orders accurately, including recording specifications, pricing items, and managing payment transactions.
  • Manage inventory of materials, supplies, and finished products to ensure adequate stock levels and efficient production processes.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in printing technology, graphic design, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience working in embroidery, or a related field, with expertise in operating and maintaining embroidery machinery.
  • Knowledge of garment preparation techniques, including hooping for hats, shirts, hoodies, jackets and other items.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and precise designs on a variety of materials and garments.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively, build rapport, and address customer needs and inquiries.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on printing equipment.
  • Proficiency in computer software and design programs is a plus. (Not Required)
