Property Manager - MultifamilyPrivately held multifamily real estate owner and operator is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily properties located throughout Brooklyn and New Jersey. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of day-to-day property operations, tenant relations, and building systems, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of a portfolio of multifamily residential buildingsSupervise maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely and quality repairsConduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance and safety issuesManage rent collections, lease renewals, and enforce building rulesCoordinate apartment turnovers, unit inspections, and move-in/move-out proceduresHandle tenant complaints, service requests, and emergencies in a timely, professional mannerWork closely with ownership on budgeting, capital planning, and rent roll oversightEnsure compliance with local laws and building code requirements (e.g. HPD, DOB, FDNY)Maintain organized property records including leases, work orders, and inspection logsQualifications:2+ years of experience managing multifamily properties, preferably in NYCStrong knowledge of NYC housing regulations, rent stabilization, and complianceExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsTech-savvy; experience with Yardi is a plusAbility to travel daily within Brooklyn and work on-site across propertiesBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
