We're looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join a growing team in Richmond, VA with a company that designs and installs automated manufacturing equipment. This is a direct hire opportunity with a competitive salary ($100,000-$110,000) and excellent benefits package, including relocation assistance.In this role, you will:Design hardware and software for complex machine and control systemsWork collaboratively to create and maintain project documentationAssist with assembly, testing, installation, and field service of our machinesDevelop electrical schematics, control systems, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Design and program machine functions and operator interfacesTroubleshoot equipment issues and provide solutionsSupport product managers during project scopingAnd moreTo be successful, you'll need:A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a similar field) or an Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience5+ years of experience in electrical or electrical engineeringStrong understanding of electrical control systems and schematicsProficient in PLC programming (Allen Bradley experience a plus)Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations (NFPA 70, NFPA 79, UL 508a)Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite and potentially Dynamics 365Knowledge of industrial communications protocolsAbility to understand mechanical systems and apply electrical componentsReady to take your engineering skills to the next level?
