Job Summary:

Like Minded Labs is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. The Senior Frontend Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality web applications for our family of products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of frontend technologies and a passion for solving complex problems with modern technology. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of post-production tools for audio and video, with a keen eye for pixel-perfect UI design.

 

Key Responsibilities:

●  Build and maintain web applications for Like Minded Labs' family of products.

●  Collaborate with the design team to implement pixel-perfect, responsive, mobile-first designs.

●  Work closely with backend developers to integrate RESTful and WebSocket based APIs.

●  Optimize scalability with a focus on media presentation and streaming video assets.

●  Experience developing Media Asset Management front ends, with a focus on user experience.

●  Optimize web applications for scale, to service thousands of viewers at a time.

●  Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.

●  Use agile processes such as SCRUM or Kanban to manage projects and deliverables.

●  Conduct A/B testing of UIs to optimize user experience.

●  Stay up-to-date with frontend technologies and trends.

 

Qualifications:

●  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

●  7+ years of experience in frontend development.

●  Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.

●  Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with popular frontend frameworks such as React and React Native.

●  Experience with Node.js and building web apps powered by RESTful and WebSocket APIs.

●  Comfortable with Inspector, Git, Code Reviews, and Jira.

●  Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.

●  Ability to work independently, as part of a larger team, or as a self-starter.

●  Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
