We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our team. As an RN Unit Manager at NCG Associates, you will be responsible for managing a team of nurses and ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of nurses, ensuring their professional development and growth
  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including patient care assignments
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
  • Handle any patient or staff concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Participate in budget planning and control expenses within the unit
  • Regularly assess the needs of the nursing unit and implement strategies to optimize patient care

Requirements

  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Must have six month of RN unit manager experience
  • Prior experience in a leadership or management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
  • Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Benefits

Assignments Location: Hamden, CT

Job Title: Registered Nurse Unit Manager

Pay Rate: $1,720@40hrs weekly

Overtime: Would be discussed during interview

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of assignments: 11 weeks

Guarantee Hours: 40hrs

Time Scheduled: 03:00pm -11:30pm

License Required: RN Compact License

Requirements: EOW and must have 6 month of unit manager experience

Certificate Required: BLS (AHA)
