In this role, you are responsible for in-platform management and optimizations aligned with brand imperatives and the organization's mission. As the Senior Media Manager, you drive strategic optimizations leveraging platform media insights and receiving guidance from the biddable media strategy team. You manage multiple brand accounts and work closely with platform account representatives. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Digital Media Activation, you engage significantly across departments, including procurement, finance, and Data Sciences & Advanced Analytics. You work across the assigned Bayer Pharmaceuticals product portfolio.Your tasks and responsibilities include managing all aspects of campaign operations lifecycle across programmatic, paid search, and paid social, including campaign planning, ad-serving, pacing, performance monitoring and optimization, as well as partner relationship management; spearheading key optimizations or structural changes within platforms to improve performance and meet business goals; exhibiting mastery of designated digital media platforms to enhance media performance and up-level junior team members; owning and managing documentation of key learnings and best practices; expanding skills beyond media management, taking an active role in project management, testing and innovation, and team development; collaborating consistently with internal teams such as DSAA, Brands, and FinOps to maintain and sustain the brand; the office location for this role is Whippany, NJ. Candidates must be domiciled within the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut) as this is a hybrid role and a presence at the Whippany office is expected at least 4 times per month. Relocation may be offered for this role based upon needs of the business.Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: required qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelor's degree; 5-7 years of online advertising experience with an in-depth knowledge of programmatic OR paid search; experience operating across multiple platforms (e.g., Google Search Ads 360, Bing, PulsePoint, The Trade Desk, etc.); ability to demonstrate strategic thought and activation skills that go beyond basic platform knowledge; experience and comfort in training junior team members; experience working across cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders; excellent communication and teamwork skills; strong analytical and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include pharmaceutical industry experience.This posting will be available for application until at least 8/15/2025. Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $114,584 - 171,877.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
