Adams & Martin Group has teamed up with a well-reputed, medium sized litigation firm in Costa Mesa that is looking to hire an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. The firm represents and advocates for the plaintiffs in many high profile cases involving cases of sex abuse.
Candidates must be able to work in-office in Costa Mesa on a full-time basis.
Essential Duties:
- Assist attorneys with complex litigation tasks.
- Manage all discovery phases: drafting, document analysis, production, and preparation for depositions.
- Organize and maintain electronic case files for easy access.
- Handle electronic discovery: document review, coding, bates numbering, and searches.
- Support trial preparation: create notebooks, organize exhibits, coordinate witnesses, and manage trial calendars.
- Track project status and deliverables.
- Conduct factual research and document analysis.
- Cite-check and ensure accuracy in legal documents.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and external parties as directed.
- Record daily work hours accurately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a personal injury litigation paralegal.
- Skilled in legal research, document management, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Adobe PDF manipulation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel if needed.
- ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate or equivalent qualifications per California Business and Professions Code Section 6450(c).
