The Role:

Our site in Billerica, MA is seeking a QA Analytical Chemist I to join our team. The new hire in this role will be working 3rd Shift, which is Monday- Friday, from 10:00pm-6:30am.


As a new QA Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting QA testing and providing analytical support to production for our Micro-Contamination control and membrane products as well as for R&D development. The QA chemist will prepare and test samples using the following analytical instrumentation: Ion Chromatography, TOC, FTIR, NVR, Karl Fischer, and ICP-MS.


What You’ll Do:

  • Work in a clean room environment to conduct routine QA product testing of filtration and membrane products from manufacturing.
  • Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.
  • Prepare samples for analysis and load instrumentation.
  • Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operation and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and trouble-shoot equipment.
  • Remove and dispose of waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures.
  • Handle requests appropriately and in a timely manner.


What We Seek:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
  • Strong internship/co-op experience in a related field.
  • Strong scientific approach and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment.
  • A self-starter, with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and follow established protocol in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work 3rd Shift Hours (M-F, 10pm-6:30am)


Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Any experience running analytical instrumentation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills will elevate a candidate.
  • Previous cleanroom experience is preferred but not required.
