You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and you are comfortable engaging with the internal and external customers.What you will get to do:Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program/project managers, functional managers, and customersReviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reportsEnsures that contract requirements and deliverables are met by directing, requesting, motivating or in other ways effecting desired action by all participating functional organizations and/or suppliers which are necessary to meet project requirements and deliverablesActs as primary contact for project activities, leading project status review sessions with internal management and customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performanceAssesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectivesLeads and directs project teams and provides technical and analytical guidanceThis position may be filled at the Principal or Sr. Principal level depending on candidate experience.Basic Qualifications for the Principal Technical Services Project Manager:Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or Masters degree with 3 or more years of relevant work experienceExperience in Program/Project ManagementExperience working closely with multiple functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Operations, etc.)The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearanceU.S. citizenship requiredBasic Qualifications for the Sr. Principal Technical Services Project Manager:Bachelors degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, or Masters degree with 6 or more years of relevant work experienceExperience in Program/Project ManagementExperience working closely with multiple functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Operations, etc.)The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearanceU.S. citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications for Both Levels:Experience with Strategic, Conventional, and/or Regional Strike Launcher SubsystemsDesign and operational experience with Navy ProgramsExperience with Microsoft system application and Agile project management toolsExperience with cost, schedule, project leadershipExperience with CAM Responsibilities and EVMS knowledge
