Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in prepping for depositions and trials.
- Conduct legal research and draft a variety of legal documents.
- Manage document preparation and filing in both state and federal courts.
- Craft and format litigation documents, including discovery demands/responses, pleadings, motions, declarations, and exhibits.
- Expertise in state and federal court filing, including e-filing, is crucial.
- Proficiency with Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat is a must.
Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Plaintiff experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree and an ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
- In-depth knowledge of California civil litigation procedures.
- Skilled in electronic discovery platforms.
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
