We've got what you're looking for.Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Journeyman Plumber to join our teamWhat You'll Be Doing:Installation of water system, drain waste, and venting for plumbing system. Water heaters, fixtures, tubs/showers, toilets, etc.Ability to troubleshoot basic issues with the plumbing system during or after installation.Use a variety of power tools, hand tools and measuring devices/meters to perform job functions.Be able to perform daily tasks including but not limited to water heater replacement and repair, fixture replacement including faucets, tubs, showers and toilets, drain clearing and competent use of sewer machines.Monitor, identify and respond promptly to malfunctioning of equipment.Respond to emergency service calls promptly.Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification, or installation of equipment.Properly complete paperworkWork with a teamWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Knowledge of applicable plumbing codesStrong trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.Journeyman PlumberKnowledge and ability to manage projects through planning, prioritizing, and applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements.Ability to work effectively with others.Expertise with normal office software is required, including MS Word, Excel, etc.Highly motivated, flexible, and great attitude on lifeDemonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment.What Desired Skills You'll Bring:Tool belts and Tools, recommended.OSHA Safety 30-Hour CertificationJourneyman Plumber License preferred.Backflow Certification, preferred.10+ years of minimum experience in the plumbing tradeValid Driver's License with good record of drivingValid US passportSecurity Clearance Requirement: NoneThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
