Job Overview:

The Product Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support, guidance, and leadership to the customer support team. This individual will work closely with customers, product management, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, as well as identify and prioritize product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Provide technical support and guidance to the customer support team and internal teams as needed
  • • Lead technical resolution of complex customer issues and provide support to junior support engineers
  • • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to identify and prioritize product improvements based on customer feedback and performance data
  • • Provide technical training and guidance to the customer support team and internal teams as needed
  • • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base for the company's products
  • • Stay current on new product releases and updates, as well as industry trends and technologies
  • • Represent the company in technical presentations and discussions with customers and industry experts
  • • Mentor and develop junior support engineers and provide performance feedback
  • • Identify and implement process improvements to improve customer satisfaction and support efficiency

Qualifications:

  • • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field
  • • 6-9 years of experience in product support or a related field
  • • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • • Proficient with using Microsoft Office products
  • • 6-9 years of Measurement and Visual Inspection experience
  • • 6-9 years of experience with the collection and analyzing of non-conformance data to create Trend charts and reports
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • • Familiarity with mechanical and technical concepts
  • • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • • Experience in creation of standard work instructions
  • • Experience in process improvement and project management.
