Position Overview: As a Radiology X-Ray Imaging Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services in a safe and respectful environment. What We Offer: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous PTO and retirement matching Tuition reimbursement programs Special discount programs Flexible Spending Accounts Identity Theft Protection Legal Aid assistance Position Requirements: Education and Training: Graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology Accreditation through The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists BLS certification within 90 days of hire Experience: Preference for one year of hospital experience post-graduation; training is available for the right candidate Key Responsibilities: Ensure accurate patient identification and physician orders prior to procedures. Document potential pregnancy in female patients aged 12-50 before examinations. Collect necessary medical history and allergy information prior to the administration of intravenous contrast. Adhere to radiation safety protocols and protective measures. Uphold patient dignity by ensuring proper coverage and comfort during exams and transport. Be proactive during downtime and assist in multiple areas as needed. Regularly check on patients to ensure their comfort during waiting periods. Demonstrate leadership and teamwork in challenging situations. Willing to volunteer for overtime shifts when required. Follow all safety procedures for patient transport to ensure safety and comfort. Perform consistently high-quality imaging studies. Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize workflow and meet patient and physician requests.
