Metro Vein Centers is a rapidly growing healthcare practice specializing in state-of-the-art vein treatments. Our industry-leading team of board-certified physicians is on a mission to meaningfully improve people’s quality of life by relieving the often painful and highly treatable symptoms of vein disease—such as varicose veins and heavy, aching, swollen legs. We currently operate 50+ clinics throughout 7 states with a vision of becoming the go-to vein care choice for patients nationwide.

Responsibilities:

● Manage nationwide electronic procurement system (ENVI) for medical and office supplies, including approvals and vendor management

● Cultivate relationships with existing and potential vendors across all areas of procurement serve as main procurement point of contact internally and externally

● Consistently evaluate vendor pricing/performance and negotiate cost reductions or bid out contracts to new vendors to reduce costs without sacrificing quality

● Prepare reporting & analytics related to procurement data leveraging Tableau or similar business intelligence tools to provide insights to the leadership team

● Track and manage inventory levels, utilization, and waste to identify areas for efficiency

● Coordinate with Clinical leadership on alternative products for shortages, backorders, or identification of other cost-saving opportunities

● Coordinate with Operations on developing best practices for inventory intake, tracking, accounting, and usage of the ENVI procurement system

● Work cross-functionally with the operations team to ensure an accurate monthly inventory count

● Coordinate with the Accounting department on vendor invoicing and payments

● Manage purchasing and accurate accounting for fixed assets

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Logistics, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field

● Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the healthcare field

● Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar

● Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

● Strong project management skills to oversee various procurement and supply chain projects from conception to completion

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to senior management effectively

● Ability to work collaboratively with different departments such as finance, operations, clinical

● Mission-driven individual with high energy and strong levels of perseverance; works toward both individual and team goals
