JOIN OUR MISSION: As we continue to expand our operations, we're searching for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. YOUR ROLE: The Accounts Payable Specialist is critical to ensuring the accuracy, timelines, and integrity of payables processing in a fast-paced, mission-critical data center environment. The successful candidate will foster vendor relationships, process invoices, and provide input regarding budget variances using accounting software. RESPONSIBILITIES: Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Review and match purchase orders, contracts, and receipts for approval and payment. Schedule and process payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks) in a timely manner. Maintain vendor records and manage inquiries to resolve discrepancies. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, and facilities) to ensure proper coding and approvals. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and in compliance with terms. Prepare reports on accounts payable status and cash flow requirements. Support audits by providing documentation and responding to auditor requests. Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 2–4 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience (experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or related industries a plus). Proficient in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong communication skills for both internal team collaboration and external vendor relations. High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.
