OVERVIEW

Transcorp Services LLC is seeking a Facility Shift Supervisor for the Fulfillment Operations team.

About our Fulfillment Operations team: The Fulfillment Operations team owns innovation in operations and works cross-functionally to bring new fulfillment solutions to market in partnership with retailers. It is charged with creating step-change improvements in growth, customer experience, operations, and shopper experience as we focus on creating new solutions across our multiple operating models that accelerate the future of grocery.

Highlights: This role will work in a retail fulfillment facility. The Facility Shift Supervisor (FSS) is a leadership role reporting to the Assistant Facility Manager and is responsible for a shift’s operations and staffing in one location. As a Facility Shift Supervisor, you will support our Delivery Operations Associate and Facility Operations, Associate. 

Key responsibilities include supervising hourly employees, processing orders by picking and filling boxes/containers, leading the team to achieve the planned weekly volume, coaching the day-to-day operation of the facility's staffing, and ensuring inventory accuracy, quality control, and personnel-related issues.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Ability to perform all functions of a Facility Shift Supervisor including:
  • Receive product from retail partners, ensuring physical count matches purchase order/invoice, and resolve discrepancies when they do not match
  • Put away products to inventory locations
  • Pick and pack items on a per order basis for dispatch to customers
  • Properly stage orders 
  • Re-shelve canceled orders promptly
  • Conduct cycle counts to identify loss
  • Minimize waste and spoilage through strict compliance with ‘First In, First Out’ practices
  • Retrieve any “quarantine” product from shelves: expiring, recall
  • Sort non-sold products leaving the facility: donation, food/non-food waste, return to retailer 
  • Ensure workspace, shelves, and aisles are clean and organized according to our health and safety standards
  • Comply with all Food Safety standards
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
  • Accountable for execution of facility operations for their shift, while ensuring that subsequent shifts are set up properly to succeed
  • Leads daily shift standups by sharing operational/organizational announcements and leading daily stretching
  • Teach, train and develop the Facility Operations Associate and Delivery Operations Associates team to execute via standard processes and implementation of process changes
  • Provides reporting, coaching, and disciplinary action recommendations for associates.
  • Promptly escalate and document any issues with safety, injuries, Human Resources and/or Employee Relations policy violations, and Loss Prevention issues
  • Retrieve inventory reports for cycle counting and sign off on discrepancies over a specified threshold
  • Manage IT equipment by checking in/out to associates, ensuring devices are charged at the end of shift, and sending out broken devices for repair
  • Manage to schedule Meals and Breaks periods
  • Serve as the initial escalation point, managing exceptions, resolving issues, or escalating to appropriate partners where necessary
  • Monitor Human Resource compliance, asset protection, safety controls, overseeing the safety of our people and products, operational and quality assurance reviews
  • Builds morale and fosters a collaborative / team-oriented work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience working with and supervising diverse teams of 10+ associates
  • Possess strong motivational and leadership skills
  • Interpersonal communication, organization, planning, and prioritization skills
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Experience working in fulfillment or retail environment (preferred)
  • Must have a valid driver license 
  • Ability to do the following:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly throughout shift/bend, twist, squat, kneel, turn, reach
  • Remain standing or walking for the duration of the shift excluding meal periods and breaks as applicable, including up and downstairs
  • Ability to walk up and downstairs and ladders
  • Push and or pull carts and other equipment
  • Operate material handling equipment with associated training (e.g. pallet jack)
  • Flexible schedule, availability to work holidays, evenings, and/or weekends
  • Be able to understand, communicate and comply with basic safety and job expectations, including performance and quality standards
