Job Summary
The Analyst/Senior Analyst will provide analytical support for office acquisitions. The Analyst/Senior Analyst will evaluate markets and submarkets, assist in creating investment theses, and support underwriting and execution of office investment opportunities.
This role requires remarkable organizational and communication skills with an ability to work through complex issues and apply critical thinking skills as they gain experience in the real estate investment space.
Key Responsibilities
- Support new business generation by assisting in underwriting and executing new acquisition opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Investments team to craft investment materials, including financial models and memos that highlight investment opportunities and risks.
- Research and analyze key market trends to inform investment decisions.
- Assist in creating acquisition capital budgets for assets.
- Support market level deep dives that support investment theses.
- Drive due diligence teams toward closings.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field.
- 1-2 years of investment experience, ideally working within a top-tier investment bank, real estate investment firm, or management consulting firm.
- Proactive and able to work independently, handle multiple concurrent projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills with a working knowledge of IRR, NPV, and other fundamental real estate metrics.
- Strong written communication skills; ability to distill complexity into succinct deal memos and emails.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and work effectively with deal team members often spread across multiple geographies.
