Sr. Supply Chain CoordinatorA gas turbine company is looking for a Sr. Supply Chain Coordinator to join their team. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials and inventory flow efficiently to meet business and customer needs. Your daily responsibilities include:Material Planning & ForecastingLog in to the ERP system to manage and monitor material planning activities.Plan demand and maintain safety stock strategies to ensure supply continuity.Understand and monitor delivery/response times, forecasting methods, and subcontracting processes.Analyze supply gaps and implement proactive solutions to improve performance.Ensure compliance with materials and demand planning guidelines.Purchase Order ManagementPlace and monitor purchase orders based on demand signals, from initiation to delivery.Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to the correct location.Identify process issues, propose improvements, and share best practices.Coordinate closely with contract manufacturers in Texas to align on production and delivery schedules.Inventory ManagementLead strategies for disposition of inactive, obsolete, or excess inventory.Optimize inventory levels and reduce waste through proactive planning.Shortage ManagementMonitor material shortage tools and adjust supplier delivery schedules as needed.Communicate risks of shortages to customers and implement mitigation plans.Develop and execute action plans to improve material availability.Data Analysis & ReportingPull, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data to support decision-making.Use insights from data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Leadership & MentorshipTrain and mentor other supply chain coordinators in material planning, purchase order execution, inventory administration, and shortage management.Lead and coordinate improvement initiatives across supply chain processes.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
